The legend of NAHAR: We started out in the early 1960’s when interior decoration was just thriving as commercial art.
The firm was established under the leadership of two brothers – Jyoti Kumar Nahar and Biman Kumar Nahar. In the early nineties, the reputation of Nahar was at its zenith. On the national forum, it won several awards of distinction in several national Interior Fairs. Climaxing all these accolades was the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ conferred by the ABID Group, the interior forum in Eastern India, in the millennium celebration year 2000 as a celebrity to J.K.Nahar which was the pinnacle of pride for his prime-time performances.
In early 2000, Manish Nahar joined the business and continued to take Nahar to a new level. Now in 2022, his son Yashvardhan Nahar has joined and taken Nahar’s appeal to new heights.
The company, through its long journey, has added many feathers to its cap namely: School of Physical Science – Mizoram, Ganesh Jewellery House Pvt Ltd, BESCOM (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited-Bangalore), Titan Industries Ltd, Essar Group, and more.
Thus, continues the charisma of Nahar and the worthiness of a living legend in the world of interiors, with the inherent significance of its firm’s caption which reads-
